FORGOTTEN ANIMAL SHELTER
A humane, no-time-limit (no-kill), 501 (c) (3) nonprofit animal shelter to be built and maintained for serving the area of Northeast Ohio.
FAS is Medina County based, but serves Medina and surrounding counties.
Our goals include raising funds to build and maintain a no-time-limit animal shelter, and to educate the public about animal care. Please visit our Bylaws page for more about the rules that govern FAS.
On our Mission Statement page there is more information about the goals of FAS and how you and we can help animals, animal lovers, and their communities. Also, be sure to see our Volunteer Opportunities page. More animal lovers are coming to our monthly meetings. They are giving great suggestions on how to help this organization raise funds to meet our goals. If you love animals and you join us, you will make the organization of Forgotten Animal Shelter bigger and better. Please see our Lost Pets page. There may be a pet on this page that you have seen in your area. Also, please see our Found Pets page if you or someone you know lost a pet. The pet may be on that page. On Monday, October 14, 2002, Forgotten Animal Shelter, Inc. signed a Land Purchase Agreement for the purchase of twelve (12) acres of land in Litchfield-the future site of Forgotten Animal Shelter. Please click on this link for our Land Purchase information page for more information. Please visit this site often for the some of the most up-to-date FAS information on events, fostering and adopting, pets needing homes, pets that people are searching for, volunteering for FAS, etc.
The Board of Trustees, Members and Volunteers of Forgotten Animal Shelter extends its thanks to and support of the brave men and women who serve in our military. May they come home safe and sound as soon as possible. Please browse our entire site for the most comprehensive information about our organization. Thank you!
